Well done to all those Zoku students who attended a grading exam today. We had a wide range of grades, from white belts to high browns, and you all made us proud.. The day proceeded smoothly, showcasing excellent karate performances.

Today we held our first aid course for some of our Zoku members. It's been 3 years since our last course and this year it was run by Steve Hallam, who is also part of the CMAA. We had a large group attending the session and all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The course covered so many aspects of important first aid and students learned a great deal.

For those who attending our Easter session this evening, students went away with an Easter goodie bag. We also held a free raffle allowing one of our lucky students to win a very posh Easter egg, which was donated as a gift. Well done to Lucy for winning. her brother kindly accepted the egg on her behalf.

We would like mention the following awards that were given out today. Congratulations to Tamsin, who has passed her Level 1 instructor exam through the Martial Arts Instructor Uk programme, as well as her Self Defence Instructor certificate from the governing body. Amber was awarded with her Kumite Arbitrator award for her work and course as score keeper and time keeper.
